The Lowdown:

The VW transporter has been an icon of the van world since the 1950s, attracting all crowds of people around the globe being equally loved and cherished within the lifestyle demographic as well as tradies. The owner Ron is looking to breath a new lease of life into the vehicle, this T5 has been used as a camper and is in need of a refresh and some body work repairs.

The plan:

Bodywork:   Repair corrosion and dents, prep and paint in chosen blue colour. Conversion to T5.1 front bumper.

Al has treated the shell with rust treatment and any dents have been filled in, rubbed down and smoothed out.

One of the rear quarters suffered some damage in its life and was fixed with just filler, we decided to rectify this by getting a fresh panel to weld in and replace.
