What Car: BMW M3 E92
Under the Bonnet: 4.0L V8 415 BHP
The BMW M3 E92 is a legendary high-performance sports car that is sure to turn heads wherever it goes. Produced from 2007 to 2013, this iconic vehicle has become a favorite among car enthusiasts. At the heart of the M3 E92 is its powerful 4.0-liter V8 engine, which delivers an impressive 414 horsepower and a top speed of 155 mph.
This particular track car is in for an engine swap as the original engine had thrown a con rod through the case puncturing a massive hole through it. It is also in to have a new role cage fitted as well as bucket seats and a full interior change. Mechanically we are fitting a big brake kit and an LSD diff for better handling.
The Plan:
Engine: Original engine swap
Interior: New roll cage, new door cards, and arm rest, bucket seats
Mechanical: New LSD diff, big brake kit

With the under-tray off you could see the big hole in the case and chunks of engine and casing cam falling out onto the floor.

Rich removed all the ancillaries and the engine was ready to come out.

With the engine out Rich swapped over any bits needed for the new engine. He also took the opportunity to fabricated new brake lines that normally sit behind the engine.

All the ancillaries have been swapped over, we are still waiting for a new clutch and flywheel but its time to put the new engine in.

The old interior is out and been replaced with a new black version. With the roll cage going in next

The roll cage has been fitted along with the new gear stick. We also upholstered the area where the back seats used to sit.

We sent the rear diff off to get refurbished as there was excessive play. Rich has now fitted it.

Rich has swapped out the old disks for larger vented and grooved versions, and fitted larger front callipers, giving the BMW much better stopping power.
